Slides scanned
I have finally scanned some of my slides from the past 9 months. I lost a lot of image quality doing so, but some of them still look okay. I acquired quite an array of images over that 9 month period. I even have some pictures from around Goodland, just before the sunflower harvest last August. Here’s one of my favorites.
I included all scanned images onto one page, that can be viewed here. I’ll probably eventually add these images to respective galleries, but for now the whole hodgepodge of images is in one place.

OFFER ACCEPTED!!!
Margie and I have been house hunting for the last couple of months, and the hunt became a little more in-depth the last two weekends. We are proud to announce that we have found a house that we are both in love with. We placed an offer on it Monday, and it was accepted today! Here’s a few pictures to get a rough appreciation for it. Click on each image to see it full size.

The corner lot house is about 40 years old, but has been completely remodeled with a great decorative and skilled, constructive touch.
It’s in a quiet and well-established neighborhood where we have already befriended the family next door. Fresh paint throughout, refinished hardwood, new ceramic tile, new kitchen and bathroom counter tops, new stainless steel appliances, and more were included during the remodel.
It’s 2 bedroom, 2 bath, 2 car garage, 2 living areas with about 2015 square feet. I sound like a realtor, huh?

We will probably be closing around the 23rd of May, so the next month will probably be somewhat busy for us. More details and pictures to follow!

Thanksgiving +1
I’ve slowly been getting accustomed to our new iMac and all of the new software with OSX. This includes the default apple video editing software: iMovie HD. As I was playing around with the software and learning a little about it, I thought I would splice together some highlights of the A&M vs Texas game on the day after Thanksgiving, 2006. So, here they are. The file is quite large (17.7MB), but this will have to do unless I can learn a better compression technique (my other attempts lost too much video resolution). In the true spirit of being a Mac user, the file is in Quicktime (.mov) format. If I get any requests for a .wmv version, I’ll post one. Only 4 and a half months of off-season left….but who’s counting? Enjoy!
