A spectacular lightning show was on display over the greater Albuquerque area on Monday. I was too busy fiddling with grilling dinner, so I only managed to snag a few shots from the back porch. I missed out on some really great opportunities with the sun setting behind translucent rain shafts among several lightning strikes. Here’s a couple of strikes that I did manage to capture from the back porch shortly after dusk.
