Supermoon at the Upper Air Station (NWS Albuquerque)
This is a double exposure of last night’s “supermoon” and the Upper Air Inflation Station at the Albuquerque Weather Forecast Office. This was all done in camera. The only post-processing I did was some minor sharpening and I adjusted the black levels a little bit. The moon was taken zoomed in at 300mm (effectively 450mm on a digital sensor) at 1/600 shutter speed and the foreground was shot with a different lens at 33mm for a 2 second exposure.
